Students in FIDM's prestigious nine-month, third-year IMPD Advanced Study program worked closely with executives from FIDM Industry Partner bebe to create the pieces in their Graduate Thesis collection. The students were tasked with creating a collection that would appeal to customers in bebe's newest international stores in Canada. The students went to Paris to study trends and to Asia, where they learned about manufacturing and production. Their collection as well as a documentary of the bebe project were highlights of the IMPD Graduate Thesis Presentation event this week. The event is attended by industry executives, FIDM Faculty, and friends and family of the students. Each year, students in the program work with one of the college's notable Industry Partners. Previous IMPD collaborations have included The Cherokee Group and Bisou Bisou.
