Los Angeles-based Forever 21 just recommitted to the city,
opening new corporate headquarters close to Downtown, in the Lincoln Heights
neighborhood. Company founder and FIDM Advisory Board member Don Chang
underlined his commitment to L.A. at the opening of the 1.9 million square foot
facility saying, “It is very humbling and exciting to be in the same
neighborhood where I started my business nearly 30 years ago.” According to
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa’s apparel industry initiative, Los Angeles
fashion-related companies employ more than 100,000 people and generate more
than $13 billion in annual revenues. Forever 21’s new offices include visual
development, design, marketing, global expansion, logistics, and warehousing among
other departments.
