Fashion Design Student Joshua Christensen Wins Design Competition

Christianmoralde

DEBUT Emcee Christian Moralde

Second quarter Fashion Design student Joshua Christensen won the 3rd Annual "Design for DEBUT's MC" competition sponsored by Student Activities.

Originally from Seattle, Christensen is currently a student at FIDM's Los Angeles Campus and has been sewing for over ten years.  He has an almost perfect grade point average and is planning to pursue a career designing menswear.

"I went for a masculine, modern military look," says Christensen of the silver two piece suit he created  for emcee Christian Moralde. This year's competition was especially competitive, with many high quality entries submitted to the Student Activities Center.

Christensen's winning creation will be seen on Moralde at select 2010 FIDM DEBUT Runway Shows. Watch this space for photos of the winning ensemble!
