Visual Communications Students Create High Fashion Magazine Spreads in SF

SPRING09_TeamNewYork

Visual Communications students at FIDM San Francisco participated in a high fashion photo shoot last quarter as part of the Fashion Styling and Coordination class. Separated into four teams, students were assigned a fashion capital: Milan, Paris, New York, and London. They then researched cultural, runway, and street trends, as well as hair, makeup, and grooming for their particular city. "The students had the opportunity to work with a great team of professional photographers and hair and makeup artists," says Instructor Peter Gravener. "The result was industry-level editorial magazine spreads."
