Nick Verreos Reports from 3 Days of Fashion at FIDM San Diego

FIDM Instructor and Project Runway Alum Nick Verreos (shown above with model Heather Chantal Jones and FIDM staff members), recently blogged about FIDM San Diego's 3 Days of Fashion:

"I love doing these events and appearances because I get to hang out with fun and very fashionable high school students who come from all over the country. The Three Days of Fashion is a three-day seminar/workshop where high school students get to know FIDM. They go shopping, have trend seminars, even drape and sketch. Seriously, I wish I had known about this when I was in high school."

FIDM's summer program for high school students includes meeting successful graduates like Nick, learning how to sketch the nine-head fashion figure, and finding out more about majors like Fashion Design!

In 2006, Project Runway contestants and fellow FIDM Grads Guadalupe Vidal, Raymundo Baltazar, and Daniel Franco joined Nick for FIDM's Project Runway panel, answering questions from students and giving career advice.

"It was a packed house at the FIDM Lounge," said Nick of the event. "We all answered questions from 'Why did you decide to do Project Runway?' to 'What could you have done differently with the outfit that got you off the show?'
