The Rudi Gernreich Archive

The FIDM Museum houses the Rudi Gernreich Archive which contains approximately 2,000 garments and accessories, 1,500 patterns, and 37 scrapbooks.  The Archive was donated to the FIDM Museum in 1985 by the Gernreich Estate.  The Archive is open by appointment to students and researchers.
