FIDM Instructor Curates "The Purse and the Person" Exhibition

What does your handbag say about you? FIDM Instructor Javier Cordon and fellow curators of the The Purse and the Person: A Century of Women's Purses explore that very question in an exhibition currently on view at the Pasadena Museum of History. Featuring over 3,000 purses and accessories, the exhibition explores both the evolution of handbags over the last century and how the accessory reflected its owner, whether she was an "Edwardian matron" or a late 20th century "superwoman."
