FIDM Alumna June Durr will be honored as "A Woman Making a Difference" by the LA Business Journal at a luncheon being held in the glamorous Biltmore Hotel (pictured) in Downtown L.A. on Tuesday May 1.  June works for the City of San Bernardino in the Economic Development Dept as the Marketing Manager. FIDM Grad Nick Verreos Designs Dress for Miss USA Pageant

Celebrity Designer and Project Runway star Nick Verreos (a FIDM Alum and popular FIDM Instructor) has posted a great story on his BravoTV blog detailing his experience designing this gorgeous Swarovski crystal beaded gown for Miss California to wear at the recent Miss USA Pageant. Custom-Designed Vespas by FIDM Students

Remember the amazing Vespa project I mentioned back in February? Well, Vespa SF loved the designs by FIDM Graphic Design Students so much, they created a special section on their site dedicated to the students' designs.
