FIDM Alumna June Durr will be honored as "A Woman Making a Difference" by the LA Business Journal at a luncheon being held in the glamorous Biltmore Hotel (pictured) in Downtown L.A. on Tuesday May 1. Celebrity Designer and Project Runway star Nick Verreos (a FIDM Alum and popular FIDM Instructor) has posted a great story on his BravoTV blog detailing his experience designing this gorgeous Swarovski crystal beaded gown for Miss California to wear at the recent Miss USA Pageant. Remember the amazing Vespa project I mentioned back in February?
