Custom Vespas to be Designed by FIDM Students
FIDM San Francisco's Graphic Design Students will be creating a custom look for the all-new Vespa LX. "Vespa San Francisco approached us to see if our students would be interested in creating a contemporary look for this new Vespa," reports Graphic Design Program Coordinator Lisa Hoffman.
"The students will be designing the paint job, seat cover, and any accessories that they
think complete the look of their Vespa design," she continues. The
designs that best match the audience's taste (as chosen by VespaSF
owners Cars Dawydiak)
will be produced and put on display in their Franklin Street showroom.
The remaining designs will be added to a book of custom design choices
available to clients. I've always wanted a chic little Vespa scooter of
my very own, haven't you? More on this exciting project as it
develops!--Kim
