Actress Michelle Trachtenberg presented FIDM Grad Monique Lhuillier with the Wells Fargo Century Fashion Achievement Award at the 2006 L.A. Fashion Awards. Monique has designed gowns for many of Hollywood's most well-known celebrities, including Angelina Jolie and Britney Spears. Her designs have been featured in W, In Style, Modern Bride, and Elle.
FIDM Grad David Cardona took home the Marketing Excellence Award, presented by Ron Herman.
FIDM Grad and FIDM Instructor Nick Verreos of Bravo's Project Runway: Season 2 and the fashion line Nikolaki, was among the notable presenters at the award show.
Award nominees included FIDM Grad Corinne Grassini.
